Family Life:

Most ancient Egyptian families consisted of a mother, father and four to five children. They had large number of children because a large number of children died before they grew up because of the really short life spans at that time.
Ancient Egyptian villages were crowded. Poor families lived with their whole family in one room of the house and other families in other rooms. Yet they enjoyed their life to the fullest.
Depending on their class and what they could afford they worked very hard to save time and money to enjoy friends, family time, swimming, fishing, sailing especially with their children which was important to the ancient Egyptian families.
