Clothing for Women:

Women in ancient Egypt wore full length dresses with either one or two straps. A rectangular piece of cloth was folded once and then sewn down the edge to make a tube. the dress is a few inches about the ankles and its either above or below the woman's breasts.
An another variation of the same dress was a short sleeved top with gathered neck opening to replace the strap.
A sari, or shawl type of clothing was very popular about the rich women. Some popular accessories worn by the rich women included long colored sash and or a pleated cape. Just like men rich women wore a lot of jewelry and decorated their cloths.
